In addition to COVID-related foot questions, a telemedicine visit could cover any new foot health issues, wounds, or changes in a chronic condition.
You will need an internet connection and a computer (desktop or laptop) or mobile device (smartphone, tablet/iPad) with a microphone, video camera, and speakers. Most devices have these components.
You will not need to enroll in any special service or purchase a subscription. The system uses the Zoom platform, a widely used tool you or someone in your household may already be familiar with. Our staff will email you a weblink for you to log on for your visit, along with more instructions.
Medicare and many insurance companies have recently expanded their coverage for telemedicine visits. Contact your insurance company to confirm your coverage; visits will be billed like a standard visit.
